It’s nice to see a veteran outdoor writer share his take on a region’s quality trout fishery. It’s even nicer to be able to meet an author and secure a signed copy of such book. Mike Kelly (Former outdoors columnist for Syracuse Newspapers) is going to be signing his new book TROUT STREAMS OF CENTRAL NY on Sat April 16 from 10-12 at B&E Fishing tackle in Ontario NY. His book covers plenty of fishy territory around Rochester, the Southern Tier and Central NY. Also included are invaluable strategies, including fly fishing specifics for these trout streams.
In addition, fellow NYS author (Spider Rybaak – FISHING THE GREAT LAKES OF NY and the Upcoming – June 2016 FISHING THE ADIRONDACKS) will be attending . These books present plenty of useful angling and how to/where to information to be gained. As fly fishers, there’s plenty to be learned from fellow anglers and these two authors bring a wealth of experience to the table. Come meet the authors and why not add another trout stream to your NY Bucket List?

This is Craig and I host Fly Fisher's Workshop. My fly fishing experiences include plenty of travel (Montana/Florida/North Carolina/Maine) and a few years part time guiding for trout. While I primarily target trout and steelhead, I still manage to chase warm water species and enjoy chasing stripers and bluefish. I'm a 3rd generation fly fisher trying to share the passion with my two sons!
